VIDEOGRAPHY
My foray into videography began in college. Though I have focused mostly on writing since graduating, I plan to revisit these skills in the future.
NEWS PROMO PACKAGE
This was my final video project for my first year at Sheridan College. With nothing but my iPhone SE, I chased down every source, conducted every interview, and gathered every shot. Videography has come with a lengthy learning curve for me and I am proud of every mistake it took to get me to this point.
YOGA SEQUENCE
I put this one together in the fall of 2020. I had only been using Premiere Pro for a few months by that point. Before I filmed it, I made it I wrote a shot list. Some of them took me almost six takes to get. I learned a valuable lesson about the value of a solid pre-production plan. Editing it together was made much easier by my preparation.
KOMBUCHA STORY
I drink a pretty strange brew here at home. And I knew it could make a pretty striking story. So combining my love of food with my new video editing skills, I made this story about a funky-fruity beverage my friends once taught me to make. I made some mistakes along the way but I feel it has some excellent visuals to support the interviews.
POST-PANDEMIC ANXIETY
If I was to do it over again, I would've filmed a shorter stand-up. I could have said much more about the topic but my stand-up was almost a full 30 seconds, leaving me less time to talk about the effects and symptoms of social anxiety during the pandemic.
